Indiana Department of Child Services Appoints Leah Raider As Chief Financial Officer

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) has appointed Leah Raider as the agency’s Chief Financial Officer.

"Leah's extensive public and private sector leadership experience, as well as her knowledge and appreciation for the DCS mission, makes her a welcome addition to our team and to the Hoosier children and families we serve," said Doris Tolliver, DCS' Chief of Staff.

Raider is a native Hoosier, born in Mishawaka, Indiana and raised in Winamac.

Before her DCS appointment, Raider most recently worked as a Deployment Leader at Indiana University Health. She has also worked in state government as an Analyst and Assistant Director within the Indiana State Budget Agency and was responsible for, in part, managing budget analysts and overall fiscal oversight of more than 15 state agencies.

Raider graduated in 2005 from the University of Indianapolis with dual undergraduate degrees in Political Science and International Relations. In 2010, she also received a Master of Public Affairs degree from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis.

She began her new duties March 27, 2017, and is based out of the DCS Central Office in Indianapolis.
