Hoosier Women Artist Contest Applications Open

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch, along with Treasurer Kelly Mitchell, and the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) have announced details for the 2017 Hoosier Women Artist Contest.

The annual competition was established in 2008 as a way to celebrate the importance of the arts in Indiana communities and showcase the work of talented female artists throughout the state.

Selected artworks will hang in the Statehouse offices of Treasurer Mitchell, Superintendent of Public Instruction Jennifer McCormick, Auditor Tera Klutz, Secretary of State Connie Lawson, and First Lady Janet Holcomb for one year.

Submissions may be made on the Indiana Arts Commission's Online Application System through April 19, 2017.
