Selma Man Arrested On Felony Warrant

(MUNCIE) - Saturday round 10:20 p.m. Trooper Michael Tinch was driving south on Madison St. in Muncie when he saw a vehicle in front of him with no tail lights.

As he caught up to the vehicle he also noticed the registration plate on the Chevrolet car had expired in December, 2016.

Trooper Tinch got the vehicle stopped at Madison and 15th St. and made contact with the driver, 36-year-old Maranda Harty of Muncie. Harty was cited for driving with a suspended driver's license with a prior conviction and operating a vehicle with an expired license plate.

Her male passenger, 26-year-old Danny Ray Maddox of Selma, was wanted on a felony warrant out of Delaware County for strangulation, Level 6 felony, and two counts of Class A misdemeanor, battery. Maddox was arrested and transported to the Delaware County Jail.
