Anderson University To Open New Installation For Gaither Exhibit

(ANDERSON) - Anderson University will host the opening of a new installation focusing on The Bill Gaither Trio as a part of a three-year rotating exhibit celebrating the life and legacy of Bill and Gloria Gaither.

The opening will be conducted on Friday, February 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. in York Performance Hall and Galleries. The opening of the new installation will include a visitor reception and is free and open to the public.

"It is an honor for all of us at Anderson University to be able to host this second installment highlighting the remarkable work of our two best-known alumni," said John Pistole, president of Anderson University.

The duration of the new installation, The Evolution and Spread of The Bill Gaither Trio, will be on display from February 17 to May 5 and will showcase the metamorphosis of the Bill Gaither Trio as well as the group's impact on the growth of Gaither Music.

Future installations within the rotating exhibit will focus on The Gaither Vocal Band and the Gaither Homecoming Phenomenon.
