(VIGO CO.) - The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office says an 18-year-old girl was arrested for arson, Friday morning after she set her family’s home on fire.
Carolyn Royer told deputies she set the fire because she was upset with herself and her parents.
She was found walking down the street in her pajamas a few blocks away from her burning home.
Otter Creek firefighters were called to home on East Ledika Avenue around 2 a.m.
Royer's father, mother and younger sister were able to escape the burning home without injury.
