Traffic Stop Lands Two In Jail On Drug Charges

(INDIANAPOLIS) - An early morning traffic stop Thursday on Pendleton Pike near 52nd Street led to the arrest of three people.

Around 12:45 a.m., Trooper Joel Flores pulled over a blue 2000 Chrysler for a traffic violation.

The driver, 37-year-old Robert Crider of Camby was allegedly driving on a suspended license.

The Lawrence Police arrived to assist Trooper Flores.

During the course of the investigation police located meth, cocaine and heroin inside the vehicle, along with drug paraphernalia including hypodermic needles.

Two passengers in the vehicle, 45 year old Terri Hawk of Camby and 34-year-old Jonathan Kidwell of Indianapolis, were also arrested in connection to the drugs.

The three were transported to the Marion County Adult Processing Center and are being held on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of meth, possession of heroin and possession of syringes. The Marion County Prosecutor's Office will review the case and determine if and what formal charges will be filed.

Trooper Flores was assisted in this investigation by the Lawrence Police Department, the Marion County Sheriff's Office and the Marion County Prosecutor.
