Man Arrested In Vigo County Stabbing

(VIGO CO.) - A man who is wanted out of Dubois County was arrested Tuesday in connection with a stabbing investigation in southern Vigo County.

The incident happened on Bono Road at the Countryside Apartments on Tuesday around 7 a.m.

Police say 24-year-old Terrance Waelterman and 36-year-old Michael Jones got into an argument in the street.

Waelterman told police Jones stabbed him and then took off.

Jones was later arrested at Love's Travel Stop on Harlan Drive.

Both men were taken to the hospital for injuries sustained during the fight.

Jones was taken to the Vigo County Jail after his release from the hospital Tuesday afternoon.
