(FARMERSBURG) - Indiana State Police arrested a rural Farmersburg man Monday in connection with a resisting law enforcement investigation that began October 6th.
Police say 25-year-old Bradley Furney crashed a stolen motorcycle on that date in southern Vigo County and escaped into a cornfield after refusing to pull over for disregarding a stop sign on US 41.
A state trooper spotted Furney Monday riding as a passenger in a car on State Road 246, just west of US 41.
A short time later, he arrested Furney without incident at a convenience store in Pimento on a Vigo County warrant for resisting law enforcement and receiving stolen property.
Furney was also arrested on a new charge of possession of meth.
