Two People In Custody Following Evansville Robbery

(EVANSVILLE) - Two people were taken in to custody in Evansville after they were of robbing a man at gunpoint. It happened Saturday night on Taylor Avenue.

Police said the victim is an 18-year-old man and was inside a home when two men robbed him of cash and a cell phone.

The victim said one of those men had a gun. The victim then told the men he was going to the neighborhood Walmart to get more money.

Police said one of the men placed the gun in the front pocket of his sweatshirt and walked behind the victim. Once he was inside the store, the victim ran for help.

Police later arrested Andrae Ellington Junior and Kamarius Foster. The pair have been charged with robbery, theft, and resisting law enforcement.
