(MOROCCO) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a tree stand incident that occurred Wednesday afternoon on Willow Slough Fish and Wildlife Area.
41-year-old Timothy Voeller of Morocco was adjusting his climbing tree stand when part of the stand came loose where he fell approximately 13 feet to the ground.
Voeller was conscious, but expressing pain in his legs and back to the responding units on scene.
He was transported to Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois for further treatment.
The extents of his injuries are unknown at this time.
Voeller was not wearing a safety harness at the time of the injury.
