Last updated on Thursday, August 4, 2016

(TERRE HAUTE) - In court Wednesday morning, Anthony Wilson was sentenced to 20 years after he plead guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in death.

Wilson was arrested in November of 2014 after a 10-week-old died at Riley Hospital for Children from head trauma.
Officials report the child had been left with Wilson while the mother and grandmother went to a nearby gas station.

The report stated they were only gone for about 10 minutes.

Just this past July Wilson plead guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in death which dropped the charge of murder and two other charges.
