(UNDATED) - A new law that regulates who vape shops can buy their supplies from could end up seriously limiting your choice of vaping liquids.

The law went into effect today and requires stores to be rid of most of their previous inventory.

Evan McMahon, a vape shop owner, and spokesman for Hoosier Vapers, said in an interview on Abdul at Large that the law requires vape shops to buy their liquids only from suppliers who have a five-year security contract from a firm with certain qualifications.

He said that means vape shops in Indiana can only choose from liquids made by those six companies and that is a serious limitation for vapers, who use a device that is essentially a refillable e-cigarette. He said people usually enjoy a wide selection for different reasons.
