(INDIANAPOLIS ) - Gun background checks crushed records in June.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted more than 2.1 million background checks in June 2016 compared to about 1.5 million in June 2015.
That's an increase of about 40 percent, which means that 2016 is on track to break last year's record for background checks.
