During Heat Wave, Duke Energy Reminds Customers To Manage Energy Use, Save Money

(PLAINFIELD) - Hot weather can lead to higher energy bills as customers try to stay cool this summer.

Duke Energy reminds customers there are a number of things they can do to help manage their energy use and save money on their monthly bills.

Customers who are having difficulty paying their monthly bills should contact our customer care center at 1-800-521-2232 to see if they are eligible for a monthly payment plan that can spread payments out over a period of time.

Duke Energy Indiana's operations provide about 7,100 megawatts of owned electric capacity to approximately 810,000 customers in a 23,000-square-mile service area, making it the state's largest electric supplier.
