Couple Arrested After Numerous Meth Items Found

(FARMERSBURG) - Thursday afternoon at 12:37, Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Troopers from the Putnamville Post arrived at 415 West Sawmill Road in Farmersburg to investigate reports of possible methamphetamine activity.

Troopers were initially notified by Farmersburg Town Marshal George McAdams of possible meth activity at the residence after McAdams had received numerous anonymous tips in recent days, alleging possible meth activity at the residence.

Upon arrival, troopers immediately discovered several items commonly associated with the production and or sale of methamphetamine. The residents were detained and a Sullivan County search warrant was obtained by the troopers to search the home.

During a search of the residence, troopers located numerous previously used "one pot" meth labs and two active "one pot" meth labs. Trace amounts of finished product and assorted paraphernalia items were also found.

47-year-old Rhonda Huffington and 41-year-old Robbie Baber, both of Farmersburg are facing charges of manufacturing meth, possession of meth, dumping of controlled waste, possession of precursors; possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.

Both were incarcerated in the Sullivan County Jail.

The investigation was conducted by ISP Meth Suppression Troopers B.J. Patterson, Shilo Raulston, and Adam Edwards. Assisting was Farmersburg Town Marshal George McAdams.
