Salmonella can cause serious and even fatal infections in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems. Common symptoms of salmonella poisoning include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.

Staph aureus can lead to food poisoning. The most common symptoms are nausea, vomiting, retching, abdominal cramping, and prostration. More severe cases can include a headache, muscle cramping, and changes in blood pressure and pulse rate.

Pharmavite is asking retailers to remove these products from their shelves.
