Kellogg Company Recalling More Than 20 Products Due To Peanut Residue

Last updated on Thursday, June 16, 2016

(UNDATED) - The Kellogg Company is recalling more than 20 products because they may contain undeclared peanut residue stemming from a previous recall by its flour supplier.

The recall involves certain varieties and limited dates of production of snacks and cookies with brand names Mother's, Keebler, Kellogg's Special K, Murray and Famous Amos.

Individuals with severe peanut allergies should avoid the recalled products, but the FDA says it does not anticipate adverse health effects in the "vast majority of peanut allergic customers" because the amount of peanut exposure from the flour is low.

Consumers can contact the Kellogg Company for a full refund. Call 1-800-962-1413, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET or visit the website.
