(JENNINGS CO.) - A Commiskey man drowned in a pond in a rural area near the town.
63-year-old Arnold Hendrix was found by his wife in a private pond on property along County Road 850S in the Commiskey area at about 9:36 a.m. Monday, Jennings County Sheriff Gary Driver said.
Sheriff's department detectives are continuing to investigate, but the department believes the incident to be an accidental drowning, Driver said.
