Jasper Police Looking For Man Wanted On Battery Charges

(JASPER) - Jasper Police are asking for the public’s help in looking for 27-year-old Walter Salgado Lopez.

Lopez is accused of battering a woman in Jasper on Sunday, May 8. When police arrived at the home Lopez fled.

He is wanted on warrants charging him with three counts of battery and one count of interfering with a crime.

The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment. She was released.
