Vincennes Police Looking For Armed Robber

(VINCENNES) - Vincennes Police are investigating an armed robbery at Hucks Convenience Store at 1515 Washington Avenue.

The robbery happened shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect. Official say the male is approximately 5'10" to 6'2″, heavy set, wearing a green hoodie, black t-shirt and work boots and unshaven facial hair. Surveillance footage also caught an image of the suspect.

Police say the man displayed a gun and demanded money from the clerk. He then fled on foot around the building and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone knowing the suspect's identity or having information about the crime is asked to contact the Vincennes Police Department at (812) 882-1630. Callers can remain anonymous
