(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Boston Marathon is underway there are many ways to feel a part of the race even if you can’t be there.
Approximately 32,000 athletes are taking part in the 120th Running of the Boston Marathon on Monday, and chances are, you may know someone running. If you cannot be there in person, there are ways to track the progress of a runner you know.
There are 323 runners from Indiana in the race. To see the full list of names, click here.
You can check a runner's status online through the Boston Athletic Association website at raceday.baa.org.
You can also receive up to 8 status updates on your athlete, sent right to your phone by signing up for AT&T Athlete Alerts. Just text RUNNER to 234567.
The Boston Athletic Association and AT&T have also set up an official Boston Marathon App, which is available in the iTunes and Google Play stores.
