Jasper Police Looking For Driver Of Black Pickup That Left Scene Of Accident

(JASPER) - Jasper police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a black truck involved in an accident Friday afternoon that left the scene.

According to police, a driver of a black pickup truck involved in a personal injury accident on 400 West near Skyview Drive at about 12:12 p.m. fled the scene.

According to the victim, 60-year-old Glenda Stepro of West Division Road, she was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Venture southbound on 400 West approaching the Skyview Drive intersection when the driver of the black pickup truck turned southbound from Skyview and struck the left rear corner of her vehicle.

After the crash the male driver of the pickup passed Stepro and fled the scene.

The pickup should have damage to its front passenger side.
