(UNDATED) - Bob Evans is closing 27 under-performing restaurants, including three in central Indiana.
The restaurant at West 71st Street in Indianapolis is one of the three that is already closed. The others are on Byrd Way along I-65 and Main Street in Greenwood, and on Memorial Drive in New Castle.
Bob Evans operates more than 500 restaurants in 18 states.
The company says it will try to give displaced employees jobs with other restaurants nearby.
