(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Supreme Court has affirmed all convictions and sentences handed down against quadruple murderer Samuel Earl Sallee in Bartholomew Circuit Court.

The court's ruling, indicating that sufficient evidence was provided during Sallee's trial just over a year ago, was written by Justice Steven H. David. The four other Supreme Court justices concurred. The decision was filed Wednesday afternoon.

It took a jury in Columbus took two hours -- on February 25, 2015 -- to find the Columbus man guilty of four counts of murder in the May 11, 2013, deaths of 53-year-old Katheryn M. Burton, 39-year-old Thomas W. Smith, 41-year-old Aaron T. Cross and 40-year-old Shawn L. Burton.
