(KOKOMO) - The body of Howard County Sheriff’s Deputy Carl Koontz will be laid to rest today in Kokomo.
Funeral services are at Northwestern High School beginning at 11 a.m with the burial at Albright Cemetery in Kokomo. A police procession will follow the funeral on Tuesday, and the public is encouraged to stand along the route beginning at the high school leading to the cemetery.
Koontz was shot and killed while on duty as he was serving a warrant in Russiaville.
