(INDIANAPOLIS) - A 6 year old boy is recovering today after being mauled by a dog in Indianapolis.
The boy's father says he was playing in the neighborhood when he was attacked. His older son ran into the house shaken up telling him "dog" that's when Kenneth Gamble ran outside to find his other son. Gamble said he saw a large man with his son in his arms covered in blood.
Gamble and his fiancée rushed Kaiden Harrison to the hospital where he underwent surgery and is now recovering.
The dog was given to Indianapolis Animal Care Control and will now undergo a 10 day quarantine and behavioral evaluation.
