4C Annual Spring Conference Early Childhood Education Event

(NEWBURGH) - On Saturday, March 12, 4C of Southern Indiana, Inc. (4C) will host one of the largest annual gatherings of early care and education providers in the region. More than 400 early childhood education workers from more than fourteen counties in Indiana and Kentucky are expected to attend the event.

4C's Annual 4C Spring Conference, the organization's signature event is an opportunity for preschool teachers, daycare providers, child care administrators, and other early education professionals to network, gain valuable professional development and celebrate their achievements.

"Our Spring Conference is unique in that we go beyond the typical celebratory recognition event to provide a memorable and rejuvenating professional development experience for our guests," says Krista Wedding, 4C's Interim President and CEO adding, "4C's Annual Spring Conference provides early care and education professionals with the type of professional development they need to be successful in Paths to QUALITY™ and On My Way Pre-K™, and helps to inspire and support continued quality improvement."

This year's 4C Spring Conference features a keynote presentation and a special breakout session from Camille Catlett, Scientist at the University of North Carolina's Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute. Catlett's research is focused on developing, implementing, and evaluating models for preparing personnel to work with young children who are culturally, linguistically, and ability-diverse. She is a frequent presenter at state, national, and international conferences on effective professional development, diversity, collaboration, and inclusion.

The conference also includes a featured workshop by Erin Ramsey, author, speaker, and founder of Living Inspired, LLC. Erin has worked in the early childhood field for over 20 years serving in various capacitates to improve the quality and accessibility of early learning opportunities. She is a highly sought after inspirational speaker and an advocate for empowering women. She is the author of Be Amazing: Tools for Living Inspired.
