(RICHMOND) - Police in eastern Indiana say no suspects are believed at large after an exchange of gunfire that killed a Richmond man and a Missouri man.
Richmond Police Capt. Kevin Wampler says Charles Atkinson of Neosho, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday night and Virgus Browning Jr. of Richmond died later at a hospital.
The Palladium-Item reports officers found the two with multiple gunshot wounds lying on the ground outside a building.
Sgt. Sean O'Brien says investigators believe the incident involved two shooters but no further suspects were being sought.
