Harrison County Man Arrested On Incest Charges

(HARRISON CO.) - Indiana State Police arrested 33-year-old Jessie Grimes of Palmyra on Tuesday after police say he allegedly had sex with a family member.

Trooper Chris Tucker from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg conducted his investigation while working with the Harrison County Department of Family and Children.

ISP Sgt. Jerry Goodin says during the investigation Trooper Tucker discovered that Grimes allegedly had sex with an underage family member and also allegedly had shown at least one child, pornographic material. This activity had allegedly occurred between August of 2015 and February 1 of this year in Harrison County.

Jessie Grimes was arrested on 20 counts of incest, 20 counts of sexual misconduct with a minor 2 counts of dissemination of matter harmful to minors.

Grimes was incarcerated at the Harrison County Jail without bond awaiting his first court appearance.
