Evansville Man Facing Attempted Murder Charges After Allegedly Shooting Woman In Head

(EVANSVILLE) - An Evansville man is charged with attempted murder after police reports say a woman was found with a gunshot wound to the head.

According to police, 27-year-old Justyn Harris was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail just before 12:30 Monday morning.

Officers were called to a report of "shots fired" in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue, where they found the victim bleeding.

Reports say the suspect was found a short distance from the scene.
