Customer Shoots Shelf In Toe At Clarksville Bass Pro Shop

(CLARKSVILLE) - An accidental shooting in Clarksville left one person hurt.

Clarksville police said that a Bass Pro Shop customer accidentally shot himself in the toe.

The call came in a little after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Store officials said the customer was waiting outside the entry turnstiles for a greeter to provide him a trigger lock to clear his firearm before entering the store when he accidentally discharged his own firearm.

The person's condition has not been released.

Store officials said no other customers or associates were at risk.
