Walmart Recalls 90,000 Beef Patties Due To Contamination

(UNDATED) - Walmart supplier Huisken Meat Company is recalling nearly 90,000 pounds of beef patties because they could be contaminated with extraneous wood.

The recall involves Sam's Choice Black Angus Beef Patties with Vidalia onion with dates of May 17, 2016 and June 6, 2016. The products subject to recall were shipped to stores nationwide and bear the establishment number "EST. 394A" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

It includes two-pound boxes containing six patties.

No injuries have been reported so far.

Consumers should not eat the product. It should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

The patties were shipped to Walmart locations nationwide.

Sam's Choice is a private label at Walmart.
