Two Columbus Men Charged In Two Separate Child Molestation Cases

Last updated on Monday, January 11, 2016

(COLUMBUS) - The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department has charged two Columbus men for two separate child molestation cases.

Both men were arrested Friday.

The first, 60-year-old Timothy E Crossland (pictured on the left), was charged with two counts of child molesting. He was transported to the Bartholomew County jail and released on $30,000 bond.

The second man charged is Christopher Corbin.

Corbin was sought after his probation for an earlier child molestation sentence was revoked. He was found after the public tipped off the Sheriff's Department about his whereabouts.

"This was another capture due to the assist of the public", said Sheriff Matt Myers. Corbin is currently incarcerated at the Indiana Department of Corrections.
