(PLAINFIELD) - The FBI says they are assisting with police activity underway now in Plainfield connected to the recent cyber threats against Plainfield and Danville schools and businesses.

FOX59 has confirmed that three people have been taken in for questioning.

The police activity took place at several locations in Plainfield. One scene was at a home at Avon Avenue and U.S. 40. The other location was a home in the 2300 block of East Drive.

Neighbors said a sophomore Plainfield High School student was taken by police for questioning.

Computers and electronics were seen being taken out of the home.

The Plainfield Police Department issued the following statement:

Tonight's actions (1/5/16) are part of an ongoing investigation by federal, state and local law enforcement agencies from Plainfield Police Department, Brownsburg Police Department, Indiana State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Indiana, and the Hendricks County Prosecutors' Office. Because the investigation is ongoing, we have no further comment at this time.
