The Indiana Association for Community Economic Development is excited to announce it is a named implementation partner to receive $500,000 to fund solar projects of less than 0.5 megawatts for community, educational, religious and nonprofit organizations and/or low-income residential customers in Duke Energy Indiana's service territory.

IACED will offer technical and financial assistance to its members and other community partners to install solar energy projects.

Solar Uniting Neighbors was developed in partnership with Sustainable Catalyst Partners. IACED Executive Director Andy Fraizer said, "Sustainability is the capacity to endure. IACED members and partners provide this critical capacity to build vibrant communities and resilient families. Through this additional investment in solar generation, communities and residents reduce air pollution, grow the local economy and preserve natural systems.
