Third Man Charged In Amanda Blackburn Murder

Last updated on Tuesday, December 15, 2015

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A third man has been charged for his alleged role in two burglaries prior to the murder of 28-year-old Amanda Blackburn.

Blackburn -- who was 12 weeks pregnant -- was murdered during a home invasion at the couple's Sunnyfield Court home Nov. 10 while their young child slept in a crib upstairs.

Police arrested two men November 23 and charged them with murder in the case.

Suspects Larry Taylor and Jalen Watson have also been charged with additional felonies related to the burglary at the Blackburn home and the two prior burglaries committed that morning, including one at an east side apartment.

Blackburn suspects had history of northwest Indianapolis break-ins

Diano Gordon is now also being charged in the burglaries.

Gordon has been charged with four felonies -- two counts of burglary and two counts of theft, and is being held in the Marion County Jail. He has been in custody on a parole violation allegation since November 19.

An initial hearing has not yet been scheduled in his case.
