(MOORESVILLE) - A convicted sex offender is back in jail after sneaking into Mooresville High School on Tuesday.
The school says the incident happened after school was out on Tuesday, when two men entered the building through a door that had been left open for a sports team.
According to the school, a coach noticed the suspicious pair and contacted police.
Officers located the two men outside of the school, on the opposite side from where they entered, and detained both. Police say one was listed on the sex offender registry, and felony charges have been filed against him.
