Pendleton Correctional Officer Arrested, Charged With Trafficking With Offender

Last updated on Friday, December 11, 2015

(PENDLETON) - A correctional officer at the Pendleton Correctional Facility has been arrested for trafficking with an offender.

On Tuesday, Theresa Zuchowski was questioned by facility correctional police officers and during a search of her personal property, two cell phones were discovered. Indiana State Police Detective Bob May placed Zuchowski under arrest and transported her to the Madison County Jail.

Zuchowski has been charged with trafficking with an offender, a level 5 felony.

"Our staff work in difficult, often volatile situations and this lone person should not diminish the perception the citizens have of our staff, who are hard-working individuals and provide a vital role in protecting our communities," stated Superintendent Dushan Zatecky.

Zuchowski was hired as a correctional officer on September 14, 2015.
