Man Dies In Crash On Indianapolis West Side

(MARION CO.) - Indiana State Police troopers are currently working a single-vehicle fatal crash on the Indianapolis west side.

This morning, at approximately 7 a.m., Indiana State Police troopers were dispatched to a single vehicle personal injury crash on I-70 WB at the 72.9 mm.

Preliminary investigation revealed that 52-year-old Kevin Moran, of Greenfield, was operating a 2006 Chevrolet pickup on I-70 WB in the middle lane pulling a flatbed trailer. A witness indicated the vehicle began to veer to left and struck the inside concrete barrier. The vehicle then crossed the interstate and struck the outside barrier and traveled down the earth embankment at the I-465 SB exit ramp.

Moran was found unresponsive in the driver's seat and life saving measures was administered but Moran died at the scene.

Investigators say that Moran appeared to suffer no obvious physical injuries from the vehicle crash.
