Conservation Officers Need Public's Help Locating Poachers

(JASPER CO.) - Indiana Conservation Officers are requesting the public’s help in possibly locating a suspects vehicle involved in a shooting from a roadway case in Jasper County.

On Saturday, at around 4p.m., witnesses observed occupants of a dark-colored vehicle in the area of the NIPSCO Power Plant in Wheatfield shoot an antlered deer from the roadway.

The vehicle was possibly occupied by two white males - approximately 30 to 35 years old.

The vehicle was identified as a dark-colored late model SUV (possibly a Ford) with a Pipefitters Decal in the rear window.
