(INDIANAPOLIS) - Wayne Township Fire Department rescued a teenager from a burning trailer around 4:30 a.m. Monday in the 8000 block of West Washington Street on Indianapolis’ far-west side.
The teenage boy, who neighbors say is 14, was taken to Riley Hospital for Children in critical condition.
A dog inside the trailer did not survive the fire.
The trailer was completely destroyed, the heaviest part of the fire in a back bedroom. The cause is under investigation.
