(INDIANAPOLIS)- An Indianapolis man is dead after apparently being shot on I-70.

State Police say it happened Wednesday evening around 6:30 pm on 70 Westbound near I-465 on the east side. They found 30-year-old Derrick Gregory unresponsive in a disabled vehicle. He had an apparent gunshot wound and they say he was the only person in the Chevy Silverado pickup truck.
