Man Arrested After Trooper Finds 5 Pounds Of Marijuana

(MORGAN CO.) - On Saturday afternoon, Indiana State Troopers stopped a black Ford pickup for an unsafe lane movement in the eastbound land of Interstate 70 near the 52 mile marker.

Trooper Yan Dravigne of the Putnamville Post, noticed possible indicators of criminal activity.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of five pounds of suspected marijuana in the cargo area of the truck.

The driver, 63-year-old Alan Wamsganz, of Avondale, Colorado was arrested on charges of dealing marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assisting were ISP Troopers James Wells and Brad Smith.
