(GUILFORD) - A buck deer was seized after Department of Natural Resources officer investigation from anonymous tip.

He returned to the same area at dark Sunday evening and located the suspected vehicle and 2 males, one 41 years old and the other 30 years old, of Tennessee, hunting.

Upon observing a dead buck deer and further questioning a confession was obtained.

The 8 point buck and 2 firearms, a 30-06 and a 270 both high powered rifles, were seized as evidence. The deer was donated to a local family.

This case was made possible by a concerned citizen who called the Indiana Turn-In a Poacher hotline.
