(RICHMOND) - An eastern Indiana man will spend 58 years in prison for fatally beating his longtime friend with baseball bats.

Eighteen-year-old Kore Buchanan of Richmond was sentenced Wednesday to 60 years in prison with two years suspended to probation. Buchanan, who was convicted of murder October 1, is the third of four defendants to be sentenced in the killing of 17-year-old Caleb Woosley in May 2014.

The Palladium-Item reports that 18-year-old Michael Pruitt is serving 45 years in prison followed by 10 years of probation for helping plan and cover up the attack.

19-year-old David Maish was sentenced to eight years in prison with six years suspended for his role in Woosley's death.

21-year-old Deandre Plant also is accused of fatally beating Woosley. He's scheduled to go to trial December 7.
