Local Water Protection Efforts Awarded At White River Alliance Special Event

(INDIANAPOLIS) - As the 2015 White River Festival concludes, the 5th Annual Watershed Stewardship Awards honor the important work being done throughout our 16-county watershed and reveal the exciting initiatives the White River Alliance has underway.

The 2015 winners, announced Tuesday, September 29, at The Crane Bay in Indianapolis, represent the local water protection efforts happening throughout central Indiana.

Conservation in local rivers and lakes honored at annual awards celebration

"The challenges facing our water quality are broad and far reaching, and we are excited that so many companies and individuals are demonstrating leadership and creativity to help us solve these challenges", said Jill Hoffmann, Alliance executive director.
