Arrest Made In Fatal Shooting Of Greenwood Restaurant Cook

(GREENWOOD) - Greenwood police have arrested a man on a preliminary charge of murder for the shooting death of Miguel Angel Hernandez.

37-year-old Candelario Cruz-Trujillo of Indianapolis was arrested for his involvement in the murder of Hernandez on Wednesday just after 6 a.m.

34-year-old Hernandez of Indianapolis was found lying near a car in the parking lot of the Four Seasons restaurant around 6 a.m. Police say he was a cook for the restaurant.

Cruz-Trujillo was arrested on Thursday while he was leaving a residence in Columbus. He is being held in the Johnson County Jail Thursday without bond, The Daily Journal reported.

The investigation into the case is ongoing.
