Police Arrest Suspect In Johnson County 'Serial Flasher' Case

Last updated on Thursday, August 20, 2015

(JOHNSON CO.) - Investigators arrested a man believed responsible for a series of reported indecent exposure incidents around Johnson County.

The man is accused of "flashing" women and girls over the past few months. Police in Franklin, Greenwood, Edinburgh and other parts of the county received multiple reports of a man in a truck calling out to women and exposing himself. Details of many of the cases are similar.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday morning that a suspect had been arrested in the case. They have not identified the man and were waiting for other departments to interview witnesses and show them photos of the man's vehicle.

Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox did say surveillance footage from a gas station proved helpful in the investigation and planned to release additional details about the case soon.
