(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indianapolis man has been convicted of raping and killing a 21-year-old woman who was housesitting for her stepmother.
Morice Ervin was found guilty Wednesday in the woman's March 2014 death. She was found dead in March 2014 in the basement of her stepmother's home.
WRTV reports Ervin lived next door to the victim's stepmother.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for September 11.
