Kroger Offers Online Ordering System

Last updated on Friday, August 28, 2015

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Grocery shopping is getting much easier thanks to a new program.

Kroger recently launched an online ordering system that makes buying groceries as easy as a click of the button. You pull up the website, set up your account and you're ready to go!

Once you log into the site, the first thing you'll notice if you're a regular Kroger shopper is a section called My Favorites and My Recent Purchases.

Dean Drilling from Kroger said, "it's all about making the customer experience more enjoyable and convenient."

Placing your order is fast. I ordered a few things to make homemade spaghetti for dinner plus a couple of other snack items. It took less than ten minutes to purchase my ten items. Once you submit the order, you select a pick-up time from as soon as the next morning at 8 a.m. up to seven days later.

Same day pick-up isn't available yet. Kroger wants to make sure they have all of the bugs worked out first before introducing that option.
